Home Care Treatment

As already proven in the study of the University of Marburg The systematic absorption of active substances through the skin is very limited and is largely prevented by the barrier of the stratum corneum. By treating the stratum corneum with the Dermaroller the penetrating amount of an active ingredient increases by more than 1000%.

Signs of aging
You are getting (your first) wrinkles, dilated veins or pigment spots. As you get older, generally from around 30, your collagen levels decrease significantly and the skin loses more and more of its elasticity and tone. The first wrinkles appear around the eyes, nose and mouth and become deeper every year. Your skin looks more tired and saggy. Ageing of the skin can also be accelerated by sunlight (UV light) and manifest itself in the form of unattractive areas of pigmentation – known as age spots – in the entire facial area. In order to counteract the signs of ageing on your skin, it is essential that you use facial care that is appropriate for your skin type. We recommend the regular use of nourishing facial masks or anti-ageing day and night sera.
Signs of aging
Blemished skin
You frequently suffer from spots, blackheads and oily, red skin. Blemished skin is unfortunately not uncommon – even beyond puberty. There are a variety of causes: besides an hormonal imbalance, an unhealthy lifestyle (diet, stress, lack of exercise ...) can also lead to acne. The skin reacts in different ways: an oily T zone, blackheads on the nose or spots on the chin. You can prevent this by ensuring you have a healthy lifestyle and tackling blemished skin with vigorous skin care. Particularly beneficial for this type of skin are products containing vitamin A or purifying cleansing masks.

Sensitive skin
Your skin is easily irritated and becomes red very quickly. Whether it’s the wind, cold or other environmental factors: your skin reacts immediately. The result is irritation, flaking or redness. Your skin is even irritated by certain care products. With the right care, you can soothe your sensitive skin and permanently strengthen the skin’s natural protective barrier to effectively prevent irritation. Using a serum specially formulated for your sensitive skin type, regular enzyme peels and soothing facial masks once or twice a week can work wonders for your skin.

Dry skin
Your skin feels slightly to very tight and you have areas of skin that are cracked, itchy or red. In the case of dry skin, the oil and moisture regulation is impaired. Your skin is not able to store sufficient moisture and therefore loses its natural protective layer. This may have a number of causes, for example excessive sunlight, aggressive care products or poor diet. This is easily remedied: provide your thirsty skin with a lot of moisture – drink a lot, leave your skin slightly wet after a shower and, above all, use the right skin care: for example, you can give your skin an extra dose of moisture with nourishing masks once or twice a week.

Enlarged pores
You have enlarged pores and a coarse skin structure. Your T zone tends to have an oily appearance. Large pores are caused by excessive production of sebum combined with an impaired skin surface. The pores become enlarged due to clogging of the ducts in the pores. This results in your skin having a coarse structure. Avoid greasy/oily care products, choosing lighter creams instead. In addition, use pore-refining facial masks.

Oily skin
Your skin has an oily appearance, especially in the T zone (forehead, nose and chin), and you are prone to spots. Oily skin is caused by increased production of skin oil (sebum), which results in an oily film on your skin. Your skin tends to be shiny and often feels greasy. The excess of sebum leads to blocked pores and therefore bothersome spots and blackheads. Make-up often only improves things for a short while. You can make a big difference with good care that gently cleans your pores and has a balancing effect.
